Career : DIGITAL ILLUSTRATOR

We are looking for talented Digital Illustrator who enjoy illustrating imagery using a digital design pen to draw out images and illustrations onto a tablet or on their computer. The job includes defining requirements, giving art directions and ideations and creating key visuals. 

Loucase has open a vacancy who has a high determination sense of art, passion, and interest. We want someone who is fun, friendly, extrovert, good at communication, a team player, and most importantly able to take a challenge.

The right candidate is able to design within an established identity system while always innovating and pushing the brand forward to create best-in-class illustration designs. This role will report directly to the Brand and Creative Director.

Responsibilities

  • Versatility in terms of art style (Can illustrate digitally in different versions of art style)
  • Focus on producing much more imagery using a digital design pen to draw out images and illustrations onto a tablet or on their computer.
  • Ability to seamlessly translate messages and ideas into appealing digital illustrations for our phone case collections.
  • Punctual (Can meet up deadlines)
  • Good eye in design and deep understanding in design principles
  • Creatively Independent (Can come out with their own art direction and concept)
  • Willingness to explore new design approach and themes
  • Good communication & presentation skills
  • Up for new challenges to explore new design approach
  • Team-player that could work well in a team

Requirements

  • University degree / higher diploma in Multimedia Design / Advertising Design / Graphic Design or related experience
  • Able to draw and illustrate digitally
  • Advanced knowledge in Procreate App, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe packages
  • A good understanding of researching trends within the Accessories market
  • Excellent planning, prioritising and organisational skills to ensure key deadlines are met
  • Able to multitask, think creatively and access colour and materials
  • A high level of attention to details
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive, with excellent communication skills
  • Required language: English
